orn in 1979 Lida began playing the piano at age of four. She graduated at the music school "Dobri Hristov", Varna in the class of Galina Dimitrova. From 1998 to 2003 she was a student of the renowned Bulgarian pianist Anton Dikov and Elena Dikova at the National Music Academy "Pancho Vladigerov" in Sofia, Bulgaria. As a student of Martin Doerrie, Lida was awarded a Diploma at the "Hochschule fuer Musik und Theater" in Hannover, Germany. The very talented artist took part in many piano master classes and worked with many teachers around the world such as:

She won top prizes at competitions including:

- 1st prize- National Competition for young pianists in Pleven, 1995
- 2nd prize- National Competition for performing of Czech and Slovak music in Varna, 1995
- 2nd prize- International Chopin Piano Competition in Varna, 1997
- 1st prize- International Piano Competition for performing of French music in Plovdiv, 2000
